While I'm not familiar with Arena, I did research most of the lore with my bff.

And you know what?...

We prefer Journey's lore more than Arena's by a lot.

Now before you pull out your swords and guns at me, and start bitching, let me explain why :

I see that y'all are so attached to your Arena lore, but... COME ON!

That fucking thing is already 5-6 years old! A lot of the lore is ALL OVER THE FUCKING PLACE! ( Don't @ me. )

Like, grow tf up already! It was about time your lore from Arena had to change.

While it does seem really interesting, I almost had an aneurysm, while trying to understand it ( It's probably just me, but again, who tf knows- ).

A lot of lore things are probably so outdated, that it makes me want to shoot myself without a second thought.

I fully support Lilith Games for changing the lore, because they made it easier for the new players to consume it without somebody having FNAF lore insanity war flashbacks. ( Like me- ) And it feels like a breath of fresh air.

Worse changes have been made before by the writers. ( Gaius from Dislyte. I'm not forgiving you for this, Lilith Games. )

Also fuck you to whoever said that Lyca is a Mary-Sue! ( Yes, I'm holding a grudge now. What about it? )

Lyca is the last person I would ever dare to call a goddamn Mary-Sue. I've been in the Creepypasta fandom for already a fucking decade and when I tell you I have seen all sorts of Mary- and Gary-Sues from there FRONT TO BACK WITH ALL FLAVOURS OF MARY-SUE IN THE EXISTENCE OF HUMANITY!

If you want to call her this, go first to the Creepypasta fandom and witness wtf we were forced to see for years, and then come back to bitch at me. ( Actually don't, because I don't give a shit. Ok, maybe I do, because I'm a dick- )

Also fuck you for calling Lorsan annoying! This mf is the most ADHD little shit-coded thing with Berial, that I have ever seen in my entire life. So move on! He's absolutely adored by a good huge portion of the Journey players. Including me. I dare say he's a lot more boring in Arena than he'll ever be in Journey. I'll never manage to see him as a monk-type and calm character. My brain is short-circuiting, while trying to imagine this.

Also, I'm gonna be completely honest with you, I absolutely love Waves of Intrigue and Song of Strife. I absolutely adore Soren as a character and the ' Jinx and Vi from Arcane ' war flashbacks I got from Sonja and Nara-

I'm still saying Afton is not the Mimic

Spoilers for the Ruin DLC under the Cut. I wanted to include this in my mega post... but I know that the fandom is flooded with "the Mimic was Afton all along" theories right now actually.

There will be a lot under the cut, explaining some personal theories and the ending of the RUIN DLC so... be warned.

The Mimic, if you read the books, (but you probably haven't so I'll explain it in a few short sentences) is a character from the Tales of the Pizzaplex Books that was built by a Faz Engineer who made a robot to mimic his son to keep him company while he worked long hours while he lived in a factory. The child died in a car accident, and the Mimic kept miming his son's behavior. So in his grief, the engineer beat him to death in rage and grief. This infused rage in the machine.

So now the Mimic mimes behavior of a four year old, but it's corrupted and twisted. It will mime the action of 'scooping icecream' but will be scooping out your brains. It also has an adaptive learning AI so the violent pain it experienced, along with a four year old teaching it, it's a very dangerous thing.

It's also buried into the foundation of the Pizzaplex. And was reprogramed by some dumb lazy tech to clear the debris down there. By disassembling the robots and putting them in a pile. Which it did to all the human construction workers by disassembling them and putting them in a pile.

"This pile" I think is the Blob. Or as the game files refer to it.... "THE TANGLE."

I think "The Tangle" is a infused pile of machinery, robots, and bodies that have all wound up down there.

So, we know that the blob is real. But I really think it's "The pile" that the Mimic has been stacking in the Book Epilogues. And it got out. Gregory/Mimic or Grimmick, says that something tunneled out of the building... And I believe this is 100% true. Because in Base Security Breach, we see this thing in the underground where Afton's room is.

But in RUIN.... This thing is on the top level??? HOw Did he get up here???

Easy..

He tunneled up.

So... the reason why RUIN looks like it does, and HOW it looks how it does...

Is because The Tangle got loose. And has been using the Pizzaplex as it's own series and network of tunnels like a burrowing snake or ant. Causing the entire building to fall in on itself. The Pizzaplex is it's ecosystem now. So that's why everything is falling apart how it is. He's breaking the very foundation and walls of everything.

So we do know the Blob IS real.

And let's assume that he's "the pile" that the Mimic has been building in the Tales of the Pizzaplex Epilouges. Just... sorting all the garbage, bodies, and endos into piles that he can find and stack.

So we know the Blob is real... but is Afton Burntrap real?

Forgive me I don't have the proper collectable screenshots so I'm pulling from the Wiki:

Throughout the game, you collect these real collectable comics that include all of the endings of Security Breach. And Cassie can recognize this as Gregory's art style, and has no idea when he had the time to make these or when he made them. EXCEPT Princess Quest. Which is pretty important I think. Which I think cements that Princess Quest is the definitive three star ending.

It's also worth noting that in Vanny's Room in the RUIN DLC... there is a book of "Fazbear History" by Vanny's Bed. So if Vanessa was freed and got out... we can assume she was talking to Gregory about the Fnaf lore as she knows it.

Also, it makes sense why some of these endings are a little insane now. cause it was just Gregory trying to process everything that happened to him at the Pizzaplex.

Gregory: So, I thought you had a twin sister for the longest time and-

Vanessa: Try again...

But anyway... if None of the previous endings were real.... Is Burntrap even real?

We collect this before we face the Mimic.... of Afton and the Blob. So we know The Blob/Tangle is real.... but was Afton ever real? Was Burntrap ever real? That's what we need to answer...

But if he isn't.... Why is his charging station down here in the furnace room all clouded up? ....As if it never was opened. As if he rotted inside with no more remnant to collect???

Cause here's the thing... I can accept the soft retconning of Afton. And if he was never real to begin with, and this is just Gregory's personal interpretation based on what Vanessa told them about what she was suffering through, I will take that. Or maybe Gregory saw the Mimic and interpreted it as this... I will take that as well.

However....

From what I said earlier... The Mimic... All his motivations in the game don't line up with Afton's.

He is doing exactly what he wants to do.

The Mimic is sealed in the back with Concrete... he's using Helpi and the VANNI Network to get Cassie to let him out. He just wants to get out of the basement and get Free.

Now... if Mimic is Afton the whole time...

and there is a case for it... they have almost the same idle animations as an endo, the Mimic does have Burntrap's claws on one hand. And he does have a similar pawed foot to Burntrap's design and they're practically identical height and pose.

And the Mimic is almost one-for-one linked with Hepi and the VANNI network. And I don't doubt that Vanny the person was using the VANNI network to get around the pizzaplex and become invisible to certain animatronics.

.....But...

here's a big But...

If the Mimic's goal is to kill people with his bare hands... and to get out of the concrete sealed basement, and break all the Security Nodes so he can get free???

WHY DOES THE PIZZAPLEX HAVE SO MANY MISSING PEOPLE/CHILDREN?

Why was the Human Staff all killed in the Pizzaplex?

Why are their children missing?

Why is Vanny hunting children and adults alike to kill in the first place?

This is not the Mimic's MO.

Because Vanny WAS working under influence of Glitchtrap and not the Mimic.

Because if the Mimic just wanted to get out... He would have told Vanny/Vanessa... head of Security.... To break all the Security Nodes A WHOLE LOT SOONER. Cause she literally has a VANNI Mask/suit and access to all of that.

The Mimic has no need for remnant or child killing or human killing if they aren't doing it themselves. The Mimic has always been very hands on with their kills.

But If Burntrap Afton is REAL... HE DOES have a reason for gathering this much Remenant.

He is growing in the charging station and trying to regrow his body.

And while the Mimic moves in a similar fashion to Burntrap, I think that's because he witnessed his behavior at one point and is copying it. But he never saw Afton in his prime. So he literally can't mimic the serial killer behaviors Afton is known for. Just likely his walk and how he breathes.

Because He literally can not copy Afton as a copy-cat killer, if there is NO Afton to Copy. There is no way that he could have learned who Afton was from all the way down below into the foundation. Especially with MXES keeping it hidden down there. And by "hidden" I'm sure it's hidden from Glitchtrap to even possess or check out that low.

People have to remember. The Mimic doesn't have access to illusion disc technology from the books. he can't replicate a corpse face. He's just a learning killer AI who has access to crappy mascot costumes. He can't look one-for-one like a person, even if he can sound like one.

So, there is a possibility that Burntrap Afton DID exist... He just rotted into dust once Vanny stopped collecting remnant for him.

Or there's also the possibility he was never real to begin with.

But.... Glitchtrap certainly was at one point. And Vanny was working with Glitchtrap to kill employees and children.

Not the Mimic.

Just their motivations and modus operandi don't add up if they are one in the same.

It wouldn't make sense for the Mimic to just tell Vanny to parade around in a bunny suit, kidnapping children and killing employees.

He would be telling her to disable the Security Nodes.

There is also the possibility that Vanessa sealed the Mimic in concrete after the events of Security Breach. But even then, I really don't think that she knew about it before hand until she went down to the basement to unplug Burntrap from his charging station.

Anyways... The only way I will see "Mimic is Afton" is that if Afton was using it's body. But then, it's not the Mimic anymore, it's just another Afton-clone.

And from everything from how I've seen the behavior of the Mimic in the DLC, it is operating completely divorced from Afton with it's own motivations and morals of it's own accord.

Oh, just to be clear, I'm not mad at this soft-retcon of burntrap. It's fine. Lol I actually prefer if he didn't exist.

And even if Burntrap was never real in the first place....

Then it means that Vanny was purely an agent of Glitchtrap.

Then when the Glitchtrap Virus got destroyed.... the Mimic hijacked the VANNI network and took it's place.

What happened in TSBS Discord server?

Oh god. A lot.

Someone ( @polaris-stuff ) decided to "rally the troops" so to speak about the post I made yesterday about "What if I could write for TSAMS". And they have just completely fucking infiltrated my thread.

It's fucking hilarious. But also terrifying? Like stars, there are so many people in there showing very loud verbal support about actually putting me on the team when the post I made was just a silly little "what if" situation. Like don't get me wrong, I am beyond flattered, and if somehow the VAs saw and heard that would literally be the funniest outcome possible. But also I had no idea that people enjoyed my writings (collectively, both for the show, my own FNAF stuff, and fanfics) that much.

Polaris has asked me not to talk on the thread for a bit while it goes down for the sake of mediation, but the urge. Ough the urge to go call them all mad lads is strong. Because it very much does feel like madness to me, I'm just a guy fr. I'm a little fucked up in the head and sometimes I say something profound, but I'm still just a guy. I'll probably get cleared to yap at all of them later today, but I'm honestly just curious as to what the fuck they're planning in their entirety to interrupt them. Hello, my loves! So for quite a while people have been wondering about commissions and offering me money for my writings. Since many people seem to want commissions from me I figured I'll open them!

I wanted to be as fair as possible with prices, which is actually one of the reasons I took so long to start commissioning: I didn't know how to price it and I didn't want to be unfair with it.

After a whole lot of google searches and looking on Reddit, I've decided my general prices will be:

Under 500 words - $5

500-1000 words - $10

1000-1500 - $15

(And so on and so forth, for every 500 word difference, it will be 5 dollars)

Also if your commission ends up being like 502 words, don't worry, it will still only be 5 dollars. I won't demand 5 extra dollars for 2 words 😂

One-shot or smut requests won't be commissions as they are very low-effort for me and they use an x-reader. It wouldn't be right to ask for money if it's easy to write and won't take a lot of time and effort.

If I need to understand an OC in depth and write an OC into an already made world with already pre-existing characters, it will take much more time and effort.

Payments will be by PayPal but if for some reason PayPal doesn't work for someone, we can probably figure something else out!

There is no pressure to commission. And as I said, I can still take general requests with an x-reader. Commissions are only for requests that will require more time and effort on my part.

What's with Balloon Boy and the Daycare Attendant?

The Balloon World arcade machine exists, it's in the DA's room and both characters are involved in it. It's probably one of the most cryptic minigames in the FNAF series as a whole, but while we could ponder what exactly it's supposed to mean (maybe I'll do that for all the security breach minigames eventually), the main question I have is this:

WHY Balloon Boy specifically? Why is the minigame about HIM?

Is there a connection between the two characters? Or was it a completely random decision?

Out of nowhere, thinking about Balloon World, I came to a realization:

The Lights.

Balloon Boy's entire gimmick in FNAF 2 was that if he got into your office, he would disable your flashlight and vent lights (...somehow. I know we all make the jokes about him taking the batteries [and then that FNAF 57: Freddy In Space thing in FNAF World said he just straight-up steals your entire flashlight], but you never see the battery icon disappear or appear empty in FNAF 2 itself when he gets into your office. And the vent lights also stop working, so unless they also operate on batteries, then... does he actually take them from you?).

What's the one rule in the daycare?

Keep the lights on.

His mechanic is the antithesis to what Sun wants and exactly what Moon would want. Balloon Boy doesn't keep the lights on. He prevents you from turning them on at all.

(which also makes me kinda sad there wasn't a Glamrock version of BB. Then again, I don't know how exactly he would've uniquely affected like anything. Regardless I am hoping for the day someone in the fandom makes a glamrock bb who is arch-enemies with sun and gets along well with moon skseijdndndnd-)

It feels kinda obvious and I'm guessing I'm not the only person to think about this, but I have never seen anyone else bring this up. Not on YouTube, not on tumblr, nowhere. Maybe if I go looking for it I'll see, but i'm surprised I haven't bumped into anyone else saying this just naturally. I go into the BB tags a LOT, surely SOMEONE would've said something, right? I don't even see it noted in the trivia on the page for the arcade game on the fnaf wiki.

...but is this supposed to mean anything? Or is it just a cute little reference or callback? it's hard to say, especially with how ambiguous the minigame is.

Though I DID think of ONE thing... (possible minor spoilers for Ruin under the cut):

Saw this pointed out in a youtube video that the BB World screen (with Eclipse, who makes their proper debut in Ruin after effectively being foreshadowed by the minigame in SB's base game) can be seen on the ceiling in the DA's room. Which makes sense, obviously, but also take note of the pirate-themed windows in the hallway leading to it.

...now, which character do most of us tend to associate with Balloon Boy? His "tag-team partner," of sorts?

Foxy. The Pirate.

With this, I found that there's more Foxy-related stuff associated with the daycare area than I had previously realized because I had never made any connections before. I mean, Kids' Cove is directly linked to it for god's sake.

Like. I hope i haven't forgotten to mention anything (I've been writing this post over the course of hours 'Cus I had stuff to do in the middle of it all). My brain's kinda starting to fry. But basically: Was Foxy originally meant to be the Daycare Attendant, in-universe? Was there gonna be a Glamrock Balloon Boy with him, like as his first mate or something??? Were they gonna be connected to Fazbear Theater????? (Uh basically Sun/Moon to my knowledge from confirmation in the books and a lot of more subtle implications in-game mainly involving environmental pieces were originally meant to be in the Fazbear Theater as a stage animatronic but got moved to daycare duty instead and being reprogrammed. Which actually explains a lot about them when you think about it-)

Like. Ok I'm forgetting where I was going with this, I'm sorry, but I guess it's food for thought/adds to the weird connections between DA and BB, I guess. Idk. I can't focus that well right now to keep making new ideas.

felt like sharing my interpretation of the Balloon World minigame itself at least since earlier I did kinda finally get it down concretely:

I kinda developed a theory that Eclipse is Sun/Moon's "safe mode" and that rebooting DA reactivated Eclipse as a result. Like, they're their own AI that was at one point implemented. but then Vanny happened and locked them out thanks to the whole Glitchtrap virus thing (albeit it only seemed to reach Moon, while Sun remains seemingly unaffected. Guessing it's because they're different AIs [finally implied/basically confirmed by their Ruin dialogue). Eclipse has seemingly not been active for some time, or at least never post-pizzaplex closure, given how they're seemingly completely oblivious to the fact that this place is closed with no signs of opening.

So the minigame was foreshadowing Eclipse's existence and implying their "trapped" nature, which also could be seen as paralleling Vanessa's whole "Vanny" situation, especially given how iirc one of the messages related to princess quest can be found near the arcade machine.

if i reblog other people's art or analysis I usually try to leave my thoughts in the tags, but sometimes I have a hard time thinking of what to say so sorry if I reblog your work and don't say anything/don't seem enthusiastic about it, if I reblog something it's because I adore it lol, I just don't always know how to put thoughts into words. <3

and as a side note, while I do try to check blogs of people I reblog in case it's a terf or whatever, sometimes you never know, so if I do reblog something from someone who's done something shitty don't hesitate to let me know with an ask or something because chances are I probably don't know lol.

They're separate dragons in mine, and they're brothers! They're Sand/night hybrids with just a biiit of Skywing heritage (hence Sunny's tail!)

They ended up working for Thorn in the Scorpion Den during the tail end of the war as caretakers, mainly caring for injured and orphaned dragonets.

After the war, they decide to start a daycare/orphanage, considering there were still many displaced dragonets during the war. (Mind you, they're still 17 or so in human years at this time, so probably 6-7 in dragon years and still considered dragonets. Around the same age as the DoD ig idk anymore lol)

I don't have their lore figured out much beyond that though-

(However, I have thought about pulling these two into my Ninjago Multiverse AU. Galaxy, (my sona) is the MC of that au and got dragged to the Pizzaplex to stop the virus via her Portals, and now works there. Sun and Moon have accidentally ended up on two adventures with her (Hunger Games and an MLP infection world). Maybe I'll add a third at some point, and DCA Sun and Moon end up dragons for a while ajdjdhjd)

I also have a few OCs I want to involve in their lore somehow. I was actually writing in that specific Google doc when I got this ask LMAO-

I can give you a few snippets if you want! :D (Some of it not Sun and Moon related specifically, but I might tie the other character's story into theirs later! I don't mind! No, they're not in the same timeline. Grey Flowers is its own thing. The second Broken and Together will have a LOT of chapters, since I have pretty big plans for it. It'll be a while till I get around to working on it properly though, and I'll probably write and post it in chunks. It'll be focused on fnaf 1. Pfft, nice MatPat mode XD Guess you'll have to wait and see what happens. And I don't mind that it's long; I don't get many asks, so it's fun to get one again. I haven't drawn the characters in all my stories, like Broken and Together, and I'm still practicing my art and trying to make it look better, so I don't share it much. I'll keep that in mind though!

This is the third and probably last Fnaf Anniversary post. In the last two, I expressed my feelings about five nights at Freddy's and showed my fanart that I've made over these 10 years of fnaf. In this post, I'll show my most recent art, from 2018 to 2024.

First, I would like to show you a piece of art that I've made back in 2015, of my fnaf oc Kento and a cyborg oc from a completely different story.

I then decided to redraw this in 2017.

I was absolutely blown away by the progress that I've made in those 2 years. It was really nice to see the improvement, and I highly recommend it to everyone to redraw art, to see your improvement and your progress with art. It really helps and inspires to draw even better in the future. I decided to keep going and redrew it again in 2020, and the results speak for themselves.

This was in 2020...it's time to redraw it again, and what year is better than the year of the 10th anniversary of the game that inspired it. Stay tuned.

The next drawings, like I said, are some pieces of art that I've made in 2018 to 2024.

That was the last bid of fanart that I've made for a while. I kind of got bored for a while, but then Security Breach rolled around, and it was the first game that I was able to play. I had a shitty px back then ( still do). I made some sketches here and there but nothing much..ans then this new game was released and I played it and I was blown away for all the wrong reasons. We all know by now that Security Breach was...well..broken, unfinished, and honestly very disappointing, but..I still had lots and lots of fun playing, and it holds a very, very special place in my heart. This game also inspired me to try and attempt to 'Fix' it. I started to rewrite all of Security, mainly the antagonist, because they massacred my girl. Vanessa specifically was the reason I started this rewrite. It's not done yet, but it's at a point where I can say that it's good and interesting and dark as hell. I really tried to pump up the horror. I don't know if I succeeded, I don't know if it's really good, or if it's just my own biased... I'll see when I post eventually. I want to know what people would think, will think? I'll post it as soon as it's done and ready to get out there. But in the meantime, enjoy some art that I've made of Vanessa, the Vanessa in my rewrite...my AU, so to say.

matpat means.... a lot to me, to say the least. I was raised in a single parent household and l haven't really considered myself to have a dad for a long time. while yes, I do technically have a dad, that's only really in the context of genetics. and my daddy issues but that's not important.

what is important is that matpat was my father, in a way. he was dubbed the title of "internet dad" long after he had already been one to me. he's part of the reason that I am the person I am today.

this piece exists because of matpat, for many reasons.

one, because I sobbed watching "goodbye internet" and want to do something special for his retirement.

two, because fnaf is the entire reason that I create what I do today, and that is partially heavily credited to matpat for overanalyzing a game about murderous animatronics in a pizzeria that I was obsessed with the moment I found out about it. 7 year old me was hooked, man.

and then I think through that, I found even more creators, which led to even more hyperfixating on weird nerdy shit, which led to me making more and more art.

and now, here I am. I'll be 17 years old in April. I graduate high school in one year.

I'm growing up.

not that I haven't been for my whole life because, well, that's how that works.

but I am nearing the true "end" of my childhood.

this year is fnaf's ten year anniversary.

this year marks a decade with game theory.

this year marks the beginning of the end.

I look back on my childhood. I went back to make one quick edit of my incredibly old Instagram account that I had way before I should've even had it.

I look back on the friends I had. I look back on all of the early-mid 2010s shit I posted and I smile. because it's cringe. it's cringe as hell and it's beautiful because of that.

and the nonsense theories are beautiful, and every single theory is beautiful because it exists. because it stems from the need to learn and think and have fun.

because that's what theorizing is about, in the end.

having fun.

matpat means a lot to me.

matpat is the reason that I am the person typing out this post. matpat is the reason that I am the person who spent 6 hours and 45 minutes drawing a piece featuring undertale and fnaf characters in it.

matpat inspires me to exist. and create. and think and learn and seek and everything.

yes, it's a bit parasocial. but it's hard for it to not be considering that I've spent more than half of my life growing alongside this man, seeing him grow in real time in tandem with myself.

I'm growing up.

but I still feel like a kid.

that's good and bad.

the bad is the part of my childhood that I didn't get to have because of my puberty hitting early. it's the fact that some of me is still a 12/13 year old in 2020. it's how the internet affected my growth.

the good is the part of me that still gets unreasonably excited when one of my interests gets brought up "in the wild." it's the fact that I love stuffed animals. it's how the internet affected my growth.

I look back on myself as a kid and, yes, I do indeed get embarrassed or genuinely cringe at how I was in some aspects. but I smile.

because it's me.

despite everything, it's still me.

despite everything, I'm still me, and matpat is still matpat, and despite every single thing that we've all gone through,

we're still us.

I remember one year, I bought myself the theorist varsity jacket with some Christmas money or something.

hell, matpat's probably one of the reasons that they are my best friend.

the fact that I'm still friends with someone I met in the first grade because of nerdy people like matpat.

I am forever grateful that I found the game theorists and became part of that group. so much of who I am is because I am a theorist. because I found one guy on the internet making overanalytical videos about games.

matpat means a lot to me. and if in case he somehow reads this whole weird ramble prose post open letter thingy, then I hope it means something to him.

Hello!! I tripped and fell into FNAF hell and it accidentally became my special interest again... Haven't been here since middle school lmao. I had a lot of negative associations w/ FNAF for a long time (it was my main coping mechanism when Many Bad Things were occuring, so it was a PTSD trigger for a while), but I'm finally reclaiming it and I'm happy to say I'm able to enjoy it again. Wow, you read to the bottom, thanks. I've struggled with S/H for something close to a decade now, and with depression and anxiety much longer than that. My E/D struggles are recent and I'm only coming up on a year of having it. I'm chronically ill and have been my whole life. I find it hard to interact and connect with people. I mask so hard constantly so I think people think I'm a better person than I really am. Five Nights at Freddy's × Erma Comic

As Abby Schmidt walks through the arcade of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, she passes by a game cabinet to which a spirit haunting the console emerges.

But shortly after, she introduces her new friend to her brother. And while Abby is excited about the new guest at the pizzeria, Mike, on the other hand, isn't so thrilled about having another ghost around.

I had this idea of doing another FNAF comic, but this time as a crossover with Erma by @brandontheoutcast and in the style of the FNAF comics by @chloesimaginationthings

I think that Abby meeting Erma and easily becoming friends with her makes a lot of sense, especially since in the movie as well as the comics by Chloeimaginationthings she befriends the ghosts of the children haunting the animatronics. The same ghost children who also tried to kill Mike in the movie, which is why I made him appear pretty uncomfortable about having Erma around. Don't worry, Mike, I'm pretty sure that Erma would be the least of your worries.

Below is a draft and clean sketch I made of the comic, which I would use to trace over. You might notice that there are some differences between the draft and the clean sketch. I also used Chloeimaginationthings' FNAF comics as reference to draw out Abby and Mike while Brandontheoutcast's posts for Erma.

After finishing the clean sketch, I had the drawing sit under some stacks of books so the sheet would flatten. Usually, I would go over the sketch with ink and markers to fill in some color after a while of flattening. However, I've decided to go over this comic digitally.

After taking a photo of the comic once it was flat enough, I used the Sketchbook app to work on the outlines and color. Once again, I used Chloeimaginationthings' FNAF comics while doing this.

Here's a bit of progress when I was working on the outlines. You might notice that on the sketch I wrote "meet" instead of "met". I didn't notice that error until I got to this point. So to fix that, I made two layers so that I can write "M" and "EET ERMA!" so that I would go over on the layer I was doing the outlines.

Once the outlines were made, I made another later to fill in color. We'll, maybe multiple layers, as I used them to color different parts on the comic, whether it be the characters, the background, speech bubbles, and other small details. I even used a layer to smudge to blend some color together, which might be noticeable on the hair and the close-up panel of Erma coming out of the screen.

I also wanted to add a couple of small details to reference the users mentioned earlier. So if you look closely at the drawings at the wall on the 3rd panel, you might see a couple of cameos among the drawings of Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Golden Freddy.

And while the comic is supposed to be one big reference to Chloeimaginationthings' FNAF comics, I wanted to leave one more nod to Brandontheoutcast. I'm not sure what kind of graphics an Erma arcade cabinet would have, but if you look closely at the panels with the cabinet, you'll see a logo for Outcast Studios as if being the company that developed the Erma game. Though it might be easier to see on the 2nd panel as it might be difficult to make out on the first panel.

And that's pretty much about all I got to share regarding my progress on this comic.

I'm thinking of doing a couple of follow-ups to this where Erma meets Freddy and the gang, which I already have drafts for. They're basically the same but with different outcomes. One is where the animatronics are frightened about meeting a ghost, only for Mike to point out that they are ghosts as well, and the other is where they instantly befriend Erma, to which Abby figured would happen. I'll probably work on those at some point if anyone is interested.

Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys this FNAF and Erma crossover fan comic I made. It was really fun to make and I would like to do more like this again soon.

Oh, and to Chloeimaginationthings and Brandontheoutcast, feel free to share your thoughts about this comic. I really want to know what you both think of it.
